This sandwich has vegetables for freshness and is hearty and filling because of grilled bread and cheese. This is budget-friendly and if you are a person who is always busy, this seems like a perfect meal. Enjoy with chips or hot soup this veggie sandwich will always impress you. Who doesn’t like sandwiches? My kids love them and for them, I always make different types of sandwiches. I make Spinach Corn Sandwich, Air Fryer Grilled Yoghurt Sandwich, and Broccoli and Green Peas Sandwiches (Air Fried) Sometimes I do make sandwiches that are not grilled and serve them as afternoon snacks. There are so many possibilities with a few slices of bread combined with vegetables, a few protein items, and chutney /dips.

Why Air Fryer Sandwiches?

Well, because I love making food in the air fryer. Air fryer grilling makes them golden and crispy from both sides. I find them better than my Panini press sandwiches.

What Ingredients are needed?

White bread/Brown Bread- Butter- Green Chutney or any type of dip- Tomatoes Cucumber Mozzarella Cheese- Salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

How to make the Sandwich?

Take two slices of the bread. Spread some butter on all sides. Spread chutney properly on both sides. Arrange tomatoes, and cucumbers and sprinkle some salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Grate some cheese on a slice of Sandwich and cover with the second one. Grill the sandwich till golden brown and enjoy.

How to serve?

I like to serve Sandwiches with hot soup mostly but I don’t see why you cannot eat them just off the air fryer.

Can we use other forms of grilling?

We can grill them on the griddle, panini press, or traditional sandwich maker.

Variations,

You can use your choice of protein such as tofu, paneer, chicken, or egg with vegetables in this Sandwich. Instead of tomato and cucumber, you can use vegetables of your choice. You can make sandwiches without grilling them like a club sandwich.
