Asian Style Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. Crispy, crunchy, and fresh these stuffed cabbage rolls are a perfect bundle of delicious taste. Ingredients we need to make this,

Cabbage- I have used normal fresh cabbage however using napa cabbage, and savoy cabbage is perfectly fine. Oil -Just a little bit to cook the dumpling on both sides. Veggies for stuffing, Grated carrot, grated cabbage, Finely chopped broccoli, Finely chopped bell peppers, crumbled tofu/paneer, Onion, ginger, garlic. Condiments, salt, crushed black pepper, dark soy sauce, and spicy red chili sauce.

How to cook?

Remove cabbage leaves carefully after removing the main stalk. Boil them in hot boiling water to make them soft. If they are very very fresh just dip them in hot water till they feel soft. Remove them on a paper towel to soak all the excess water. Make veggie and tofu stuffing to make the cabbage dumpling. Place the stuffing in the middle and make a nice roll /dumpling of cabbage leaves. heat a little bit of oil in a frying pan and charr them from both sides. You can steam them as well. Remove them in a plate and serve with some chili sauce.

How to serve cabbage rolls?

They are just perfect appetizer bundles to serve anywhere. Prepare them in advance before you need to serve and just steam or charr to perfection at the time of serving. Serve along with some sweet chili sauce, peanut sauce, or even garlic chutney. They taste great at any time and with anything.

Can we freeze the cabbage rolls?

In a normal scenario, I will not advise to store them after being cooked. They will be soggy and mushy. Just make the dumpling in advance. Keep them in the fridge and cook them just before serving.
